About Me
Meet Ms. Ginn
Be the "I" in KIND

My name is Kimberly Whitaker Ginn and I counselor of Glencoe Elementary School.  I am in my 14th year as an elementary school counselor and on my 19th year in education. It is an honor to be able to serve the parents and students of my home town.
I am the mother of two beautiful and enthusiastic daughters. They are 15 and 9 and both attend Glencoe schools. They are the reason I open my eyes in the morning (sometimes way too early) and they bring me such joy in this world!
As a child, I was raised in the Church where I learned  to praise Christ and be thankful for the life I was given.  Because of my family and church, I discovered that my true ambition in life was to help others live a successful and productive life. Life's struggles have given me strength and taught me the importance of the "little things" in life.  I am currently completing course work in the ministry field through Highlands College (Church of the Highlands) where I will be able to further serve in the ministry field. I have also added missionary work to my plate. I have traveled to Africa and Dominican Republic for international missions and plan on future travel in this area.
I am so proud to say that I was raised in a family of educators who offered me a well-rounded education. Their teachings led me to earn honors throughout my educational career. I love working with Glencoe students and I pray that I will be able to make a difference in each of your lives!
